I’m ready to go to work in Washington on Day One to make a difference. Here are just some of the things I’ll be fighting for in Congress.

The Role of Congress

The Founding Fathers wrote the Constitution to give Congress the power to make laws – not the President. As your Representative, I’ll fight to reclaim and defend Congress’ power to decide on spending, taxes and tariffs, and when and where America goes to war.

Taxes

H.R. 1 – the White House’s “BIG” budget bill – extended tax cuts for the super-wealthy. I will vote to repeal billionaires’ tax cuts so that everyone pays their fair share – and working families get to keep more of their hard-earned money.

Health Care

We cannot continue with a health care system that is controlled by for-profit insurance companies instead of patients and providers. I will fight for new policies like “Medicare for All” or a public option so that people can get the care they need without fear of going broke.
