The results of our 2025 Survey of voter preferences is complete. The following policy positions were preferred by the survey respondents:
The most important economic issue was “A Wealth Tax on Billionaires” by 70%
The most important social issue was “Healthcare for All” by 74%
The most important political issue was “Campaign Finance Laws to Reduce the Influence of Money in Politics” by 48% and “Eliminate the Electoral College” by 17% and “Reform the Supreme Court” by 13%
The most important environmental issue was “Conservation of Resources for Future Generations” by 52% and “A Carbon Tax” by 13%
Another important issue suggested by the survey participants was “LGBQT Rights” by 26%

I’m pleased with our results in this survey. As for the most important political issue, I am hard-pressed to choose one among these top three, despite money in politics (and the ill-conceived SCOTUS Citizens United decision) being currently most pressing. For me, the Electoral College has been the longest-standing destructive element in our federal election process.
